NOVARKI LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the AllergySnap™ mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.
Our Privacy Commitment
AllergySnap™ is designed with privacy first. We believe that managing food allergies shouldn't require sacrificing your privacy. That's why:
- No account or registration is required to use the App
- Your allergen profile is stored only on your device
- We collect minimal data necessary for the App to function
- We never sell your data to third parties
Information We Collect
1. Information You Provide
- Allergen Profile: The allergens you select are stored locally on your device. We do not have access to this information.
- Custom Allergens: Any custom allergens you add remain on your device only.
2. Automatically Collected Information
- Product Scans: When you scan a barcode or QR code, we send only the code number to our product database to retrieve ingredient information. We do not store a history of your scans.
- AI Photo Analysis: When using photo scanning, images are processed by our AI service provider (OpenAI) and are not retained after analysis.
- Anonymous Analytics: We collect anonymous usage statistics (e.g., app crashes, feature usage) to improve the App. This data cannot be linked to you personally.
- Offline Database: The US Government nutrition database is pre-loaded on your device. No network requests are made to access this data.
